For over 60 years, Dentons Frame Shop has been a family business. Jack and Maxcine Denton founded the company in 1942 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Through the 1960's and 70's, John Moad and several others in the Moad family, worked for the Dentons, and eventually bought the company from them in 1984. Moad Brothers, a partnership of John, Mike, and their father SL Moad (each an Oklahoma City Chief at one time) bought the frame shop. Jack and Maxcine kindly stayed on to help with the transition.
Since then, sadly Jack passed away in 1992, and Maxcine has kindly remained an important source of leadership for the company. Each of John Moad's three children Mark, Megan, and Chris, as well as his son-in-law Mike Towery and daughter-in-law Tiffany Moad, have all worked at Dentons at one time.
Today, Megan and Mike Towery, John Moad, and Tiffany Moad continue to provide the best in custom frame service and framing supplies to clients all over the country. Dentons Framing continues its evolution as a company, but exemplary skill, service and quality remain the lasting legacy.
